Ultra-Precision Machine
and Instrument Design

Olympic Precision Inc. (OPI) offers its clients advanced engineering and manufacturing services that make businesses more competitive. Once only available to those contracting with select U.S. national laboratories, OPI can cost-effectively move manufacturing operations into new areas of performance and profitability.

Design and Development Services
OPI serves the commercial and government sectors in multiple ways as: a contract engineering organization, a partner in developing new products and/or processes, or an agent in identifying and forging alliances. We work with technology providers, funding sources, and government agencies to provide complete services to our clients.

Decades of Ultra-Precision Experience
Dave Youden and Dan Thompson lead a staff of precision engineers dedicated to ultra-precision machining and precision manufacturing. They offer a combined 70+ years of experience that includes positions in Fortune 100 companies and research and development. Recognized with numerous awards from industry associations, both are past presidents of ASPE and widely published in the areas of precision engineering, deterministic manufacturing, metrology, and machine tool design and testing.

OPI Expertise
OPI staff members are recognized experts in precision engineering and manufacturing and experienced in technology transfer and commercialization.

The combined experience of the staff encompasses all aspects of precision manufacturing. This includes laboratory-scale development, low-volume manufacturing of specialized components, and high-volume production of commodity products. In addition, our experience in precision manufacturing enables us to integrate prototoype machinery and processes into existing or new production applications.
